About the Blog

After a few years of informal street ministry, I officially incorporated a small ministry in the early 2000s called “Starve Me to Life.” During those years, I spent much of my free time on the streets of places like Knoxville, TN, Atlanta, GA, and Deerfield Beach, FL sharing the Gospel with whoever I could meet. I captured some of those stories on the ministry’s website.

In 2008, after 6 years of full-time street evangelism, I was blessed with a wife and, nine months later, our first child. At that time, after much prayer and through some confirmations, it was evident that God was moving me to a ministry in the marketplace. I left the blog operational, and though I continued to share Jesus as I hard the opportunity, no new stories were added.

After many years and still recognizing my passion for sharing the Gospel along with encouraging others to do the same, I’ve launched this blog–StreetEvangelism.com. Additionally, I’ve taken some of the stories from “Starve Me to Life” and I’ve moved them here. In this blog, I want to share stories of opportunities I’ve had to talk with people about Jesus. However, this isn’t about me. This blog is here to encourage you, myself, and others in reminding us all of God’s love and faithfulness. This blog also exists to perhaps give you tips and insights on how to share your faith with others.

If you have questions or are looking for suggestions, or if you are interested in some training for your group on how to share the Gospel, please feel free to contact me. I’d love to hear from you. Additionally, if you are looking for training resources for your church or small group that are a bit more formal, check out the website of my new ministry Discipled Church. Finally, you can find my personal blog at LeavingHobbiton.com (yes, I love Lord of the Rings).
